I'm not your mother, so I'm not going to lecture you. I'm also an adult with tattoos, so I'm not going to tell you it's wrong to get an inking. If you already have tattoos then what I have to share may not be earth-shattering for you, as I expect you'll already know and agree with what I have to say. If you don't have tattoos and are thinking about getting some, especially leg tattoos, then take a few seconds to hear me out before you go and do something you cannot undo. When it comes to leg tattoos, one of two things can happen. You can get a design that is ideal for that placement and you could end up making your legs look even hotter. On the other hand, if you choose the wrong design for leg tattoos you may find yourself shopping - for a lot of pants to cover up that huge mistake you made. To make the most of leg tattoos, consider your legs as a body part. For one, they grow and the skin stretches, which means you might want to skip designs that have faces (chopper-tattoos has designs perfect for leg tattoos) because as your leg changes, so will the face on your design. Another consideration, like it or not, is that of age. As we age, our legs tend to become less firm and we start to wear clothing that covers our thighs, so take this into account when deciding where to place your ink as well. Some people like their ink showing and others not so much. Whatever you do, use your head and think it through by talking things over with your artist and asking for their opinion as well. It only takes a little effort and the work is well worth it. Just ask anyone anyone who's gotten leg tattoos!
